Hi everyone! It is time to start talking about City Meet. City Meet is a large swim meet with all the teams in the Columbia Swim League. It is located at the USC's Blatt PE Center (1300 Wheat Street) on June 29th and June 30th. Sessions are broken down by age groups.

City Meet Form:

• On one of the forms, you will specify what events your swimmer will be swimming.
• You must fill out a liability form.
• Please print these and fill them out.
• These are due on Thursday, June 20th. Please give your form to Coach Teran.

Eligibility and Events:

• Each swimmer may swim up to 3 of the 4 individual events offered.
• Swimmers who are *11 or older may also swim in the 100 IM.* 
• If we have enough swimmers participating, we may be able to build a medley and a freestyle relay (coaches will assign all relays and enter times).

Cost: (cash or check made out to Katrinda Scott)

• 6 & Under exhibition freestyle only swimmer: $25.00 (if a 6&U swims additional events in the 8 & Under session, the fee is $35)
• All other swimmers: $35.00

Dates and Times:

Session 1 (AM): Saturday, June 29th

8 & under

Warmups: 8:45-9:10 am

Meet time: 9:30 am

Session 2 (PM): Saturday, June 29th

11-12 year olds

Warmups: 12:30-1:00 pm

Meet start: 1:30 pm

Session 3 (AM): Sunday, June 30th

9-10 year olds

Warmups: 8:00-8:25 am

Meet start: 8:45 am

Session 4 (PM): Sunday, June 30th

13-14 and 15-18 year olds

Warmups: 12:25-1:10 pm

Meet start: 1:30 pm

Volunteering:

• If you are interested in volunteering during your child's session, please let us know on your entry form. Several non-trained positions might need to be filled.

I have also attached the City Meet handbook that the CSL sent out. You guys are welcome to look at it; however, it generally has more information than parents need! If you have any questions about City Meet, don't hesitate to contact me! :)
