Hey y'all!

As city meet is fast approaching, I wanted to send out an email with a large chunk of information regarding the meet.

The most important things to remember:

All registration forms and fees are due to Coach Owen this Thursday, June 19. If I don't have these forms filled out and signed, I can't sign your child up! 

This year's meet will take place on June 28 and 29 downtown at USC’s racing pool, depending on your child's age. Each age group will have ONE session, so swimmers will not be there for both days. The sessions will happen as follows:

Saturday, June 28th Session 1: 6 & Under and 8 & Under ~9am-Noon

Saturday, June 28th Session 2: 11-12yr olds ~1:30-4:30

Sunday, June 29th Session 3: 9-10yr olds ~9am-Noon

Sunday, June 29th Session 4: 13-14yr olds and 15-18yr olds ~1:30-5:00

Please note that these times are an estimation, and I will send out exact information to those attending. 

Now, for some information about the meet itself!

City meet is a Columbia wide gathering of all the swimmers from each age group. Swimmers will be allowed on deck and will sit in a team area. Coach Rachel and I will be on deck all four sessions to help get the kiddos to their events! All spectators will be required to sit in the grandstands overlooking the pool. Don't fret! There is plenty of seating, and the view of the pool will be perfect. Coaches can walk swimmers up to see their parents as needed, but it is recommended they try to stay on deck as much as possible. City meet is a TON of fun, and I would strongly recommend coming out if y'all are here that weekend!

I will have city meet forms at practice these next two days, so come and get one! And don't hesitate to ask any questions as needed!
